Job Duties
The role is directly responsible for developing a business - wide Quality and Sustainability strategy and developing programs and processes to ensure that the strategy is fully embedded across the entire Leighton Asia footprint as well as tracking, monitoring and reporting on all aspects of the business’s Quality and Sustainability performance, giving clear guidance to the project teams so as to maintain adherence to standards and compliance norms; maintaining oversight on system document management WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF delivering effective quality and sustainability management on Leighton projects and thus meeting the specific requirements of our clients, government bodies and Leighton Asia.
- Provide guidance to maintain adherence to quality and environmental standards and compliance norms
- Regularly engage with parent and group companies to ensure alignment of corporate strategies
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies and policies, such as our “Net Zero” business strategy, and manage sustainability data from projects for reporting purposes
- Maintain and control the company’s documented policies and procedures
- Monitor the implementation of the company quality and environmental management systems on projects
- Establish quality and environmental audit programs for the projects and coordinate with external bodies on audit approach and scope for certification
- Drive the development and rollout of initiatives to improve quality and sustainability performance across the business
- Support projects with their yearly Taxonomy assessments and other sustainability reporting requirements
- Support tendering processes by preparing data / responses / presentation material as required
Job Requirements
- Degree holder in Civil / Building Engineering / Quality & Environment or related discipline
- Minimum 12 years' experience in a quality role preferably in a managerial capacity
- Good Knowledge of quality and environmental management systems, and related ISO standards
- Member of a recognized professional body would be an advantage
